Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi > Sapa (L)

  • 6:30AM until 7:00AM pick up from your hotel in Hanoi
  • 6 hour drive to Sapa in a deluxe sitting bus (with stretching stops)
  • 1:00pm arrive Sapa town
  • Check into your room at Sapa Lodge Hotel
  • Enjoy a free day to explore Sapa town
  • It’s best to sleep early for the big day tomorrow

Day 2: Sapa > Mount Fansipan (B, L, D)

  • Have breakfast
  • Leave your big luggage at our hotel and bring only what you need for the trek
  • Transfer to Tram Ton Pass at the base of Mount Fansipan
  • Start your trek through a beautiful bamboo forest
  • Stop along the trail for a picnic lunch
  • 5 PM you will arrive at the base camp at an elevation of 2,800 meters
  • Here you can make a fire, away from everything but nature
  • Sleep the night away in Mount Fansipans base camp

Day 3:Mount Fansipan > Sapa > Train (B, L, D)

  • Wake up at 6:30 AM
  • You will eat breakfast prepared by your guide and porter
  • After breakfast you will finish the last stretch of the trek to Fansipan’s peak
  • At 3,143 meters you will have one of the best views Southeast Asia has to offer
  • Gaze down on the stunning beauty of Sapa
  • Celebrate conquering the tallest mountain in Vietnam
  • Begin trekking back down to the base camp for a break
  • At 2,000 meters we reach Tram Ton Pass
  • From Tram Ton Pass a van will take you back to Sapa town
  • Enjoy dinner at the hotel before taking the bus back to Hanoi

Day 4: Arrival in Hanoi

  • Approximately 5:00 am arrive back in Hanoi
  • Trip ends
